Rapid Photo Downloader is an application for professional and amateur photographers, designed for use on the Linux desktop. It can download photos and videos from multiple cameras, memory cards, and portable storage devices simultaneously. It provides many flexible, user-defined options for subfolder creation, photo and video renaming, and backup.

An error log window was added to display download warnings and errors. A feature to synchronize RAW + JPEG sequence values was added. A bug where it was impossible to set subfolder and file rename preferences on Ubuntu 11.04 or Fedora 15 was fixed. The Brazilian, Dutch, French, German, and Spanish translations were updated.

You can now zoom in and out of a preview image. Extraneous white space is now more effectively stripped from serial number metadata and folder names. A Croatian translation was added. The French, Norwegian Bokmal, Polish, and Russian translations were updated. Other minor fixes were made.
