mod_dnsbl now uses a classification similar to the squidguard
blacklists. The squidguard blacklists have been imported into the zone
dnsbl.othello.ch, together with the adult list from the University of
Toulouse. mod_dnsbl has been enhanced to be able to filter URL paths
also, not just host names.
This release can control mod_clamav to a certain degree. You can have a whitelist of sites that don't need to be scanned, and a blacklist of sites that need to be scanned with more paranoid rules. E.g. you will not want mod_clamav to scan your virus pattern downloads. Furthermore, actions can now be restricted in time. E.g. access to resources can be limited during certain hours of the day.
Besides fixing some bugs, this release adds the ability to
allow acceptance of users without proxy authentication
for some target URLs, while still requiring authentication
for others, all based on information in special DNS zones.
