Lowlife is a documentation project which tells the
user how to put together a simple uClibc-based
Linux boot-floopy. It also describes the
installation of the SVGA vncviewer on the floppy,
thus enhancing it with X terminal capabilities.
Besides the documentation, the package also
contains a precompiled demo floppy image.

Hints were reorganized according to new LFS hint
format and the license changed to MIT. uClibc was
upgraded to 0.9.21 and svgalib to 1.9.18. uClibc is
now built correctly using the headers of the kernel
used with the floppy.

Svgalib compilation and the mkbootdisk script have been cleaned up. After you enter the development environment (su - bootdisk), you can do everything there; no temporary hacks of the sytem are needed anymore.
