Libmpeg3 decodes MP2, MP3, AC3, MPEG-1 video, MPEG-2 video, and DVD footage in
a single library. It supports many esoteric features like parallel video
decoding, frame-accurate editing, YUV 4:2:2, and ATSC transport stream
decoding.

Creation of a table of contents now has a front end which allows tables of contents to be created in the application that uses libmpeg3. An index of the audio is built with the table of contents to allow accelerated drawing of audio waveforms. You still need to use mpeg3toc if the stream is to be accessed on a renderfarm. Mpeg3toc requires the -v option to print status.
Last internal offsets have been moved to absolute offsets. mpeg3toc takes -a to limit the number of audio streams scanned. New tables of contents are incompatible with old tables of contents.
