GOIM

This release adds an InGame Messenger for DX 8 games and a GameServer Browser for HLSW server lists. It contains various bugfixes and enhancements, like better Linux/Mac OS support, support for Jabber file transfer, and customization of the commands used to launch games.

This release adds support for auto joining MUC rooms and inviting people
to a MUC room, sound playback when receiving messages, better handling
of tabbed chat windows, and a few games (Civ4, MTA:SA, TM:S, TM:Nations
ESWC, Guildwars). Together with GOIM 1.0.3, the first beta version of
GOIM InGame Messenger for DirectX 8 games was released, and can be
downloaded through the update site.

This release adds support for autodetecting installed games (on Win32), changes the appearence of the main window (the menu bar is now hidden by default and it uses the TOOL style), and adds a new 'first start wizard' which introduces new users to GOIM, sets up a jabber account, and detects installed games. It also fixes various bugs (e.g. authorizing new contacts, reconnecting MUC channel windows, etc.).

This release adds a simple History Saver/Viewer, small changes to the
look of the contact list and chat window, and fixes for a crash in
ServiceDiscoveryUI, XHTML message sending, and removing contacts from
roster groups.

The basic messaging and presence features are stable enough to release 1.0.0. The release itself contains only minor bugfixes and feature enhancements (e.g. improved game server detection, a chat window display bugfix, an improved Windows tray icon, and more).
