fltdj, The Daily Journal, is a PIM program that is written using the Fast Light Tool Kit. It manages daily notes, appointments, holidays, contact and to-do lists, and issues alerts before scheduled appointments.

This version removes a bug which issued spurious
alerts for appointments which had been changed or
deleted. It also adds keybindings, checks the date
periodically, monitors termination via the window
manager, and traps the 'escape' key to avoid data
loss.
The contact info is now sorted alpha-numerically.
The program also checks for the data directory on
startup. A segfault which occurred when pasting
data to the notes window was corrected.
