detectChanges is a file integrity checking and
management tool. Changes are detected using checksums (md5sum and sha1sum) and inode information printed via ls - others can be added easily. Since it is a script, administrative privileges are not required, noris a compiler. While detectChanges does not provide as much functionality (tripwire, aide, etc.), it is sufficient for most users.
