CryoPID allows you to capture the state of a
running process in Linux and save it to a file.
This file can then be used to resume the process
later on, either after a reboot or even on another
machine.

Support for pipes to self was added. Support for
UNIX sockets was improved. Rudimentary support for
Gtk+ applications was added. Lots of refactoring
was done for portability. The program doesn't
depend on finding a syscall before needing a
remote syscall. Support for syscalls via the
vsyscall DSO was added. Deleted (temporary) files
can be saved and restored. SIGWINCH is sent when
resuming.
